Welcome to Body Truth

Welcome to Body Truth by Emily Ruth Coach

Hello!

Hello there~

My name is Emily Ruth. I help women break free from diet culture and reconnect with their bodies in friendship. This frees us to feel liberation from energy draining thoughts and behaviors. I help women live the life they are meant to live! Seriously, it’s pretty epic to witness and be a part of. I believe it’s some of the most important action we can take in this life– to really love and appreciate the gift we are given in our bodies. When we have love and compassion for ourselves, it is so much easier to give love and compassion to others.

Women ask me, “But how do you actually DO that work? How do I make peace with my body?” I love this question because there are specific things I help my clients do, but HOW each of us does them is so different. It’s beautiful really, that our paths to healing are each as unique as we are. I remember feeling so lost and frustrated at the beginning of my own path. I wished every day for someone to shine a flashlight to illuminate my answers in the dark tunnel I was stuck in. After nearly 2 decades of dead ends and dark corners, I’ve gained tools, and I would love to support you in your own journey of discovery.

In the coming days I’ll be loading up this website with free downloads, podcast episodes, and other resources to help you reconnect with your body in friendship. Subscribe to this blog for updates on all the latest information. Learn your Body Truth. I’m here to help you navigate your path.

Love and live well,

Emily Ruth

Are you struggling to function in life because you feel overwhelmed by negative thoughts about your body? I understand. I’ve been there. This is why we created REVIVE! It’s the retreat I wish I’d had at the beginning of my own journey. I’ve gathered all my tools and mentors who helped me along the way, and I’m sharing them with you.

We’ve decided to open the retreat to a more attendees. We’re able to do this is by offering a buddy-up option to share a Queen or King bed. Another benefit to this is that each attendee gets a discount for sharing a bed making it much more affordable than other luxury retreats. Of course you can choose to go solo in your room, but we give the share option for friends, or sisters wanting to attend together. If you are coming alone, but still want to share your space for the discount, I can pair you up with just the right roommate.

The transformation you are looking for can be yours.

What would that be like for you? Join us to find out.

Voices Needed!

,

Hey There!

How have you been? Now, for a sec, forget there is a screen and some distance between us and envision that you are over at my house, and we are lounging on my couch. I’d offer you some peppermint or citrus zinger because herbal tea is my thing. Now tell me – Really, how are you?
I’ve been thinking about you, along with a few other amazing souls I’ve connected with in this online space. I was wondering, would you be open to being interviewed for a recorded project I’m doing? You can be anonymous, or not, but I want to document the relationships women have with their bodies. I want to hear all the things. Would you be willing to share your story?
When I was serving as a doula, I listened to so many birth stories and it was incredibly powerful to bear witness to other women, and their experiences. For some, it brought healing. For others, they gained empowerment and insights they hadn’t yet realized. A few, just needed to cry. I would love to hear your body story. Your connection and relationship with yourself and how you have come to the place you are in, wherever that is. I’m looking for women of all backgrounds. Your voice is needed.
DM or Email me at emily@emilyruthcoach.com for info and we can talk more about the project.

Live & Love Fearlessly

,

There’s a message that has showed up for me over and over and over and a dear friend reminded me again today. It is this: “Slow down to speed up.” Meaning, true productivity doesn’t come from my speed. It comes from pointing my compass intentionally in the right direction.
It is so simple, and I’m not saying it’s easy. But it’s not complicated. It is free from the hustle and the frantic energy I have felt in my own life and all around us at times.
Slow down.
Take the time to tune in and get quiet. I now know that when we do this, “the hustle” evaporates. I no longer glorify “busy.” I used to, I’ll admit. But as I got caught in the thick of it, I realized it was anti-everything I really value. The hustle doesn’t honor my relationships or the energy I put toward spirituality. Busy doesn’t grow my knowledge or faith or productivity in the areas I *really* want.
I’m still learning, but I challenge you to slow down with me. We are infinitely resourced when we fill our cups from the true source. He will give us what we need… minus the frantic pace.
Live and love fearlessly
